I´m trying to start this new year thinking positive. And since 2012 just begun, I guess there is still a lot of time for ponderings, improvements and new beginnings. And I think it is about time for one of those new beginnings now. After 9 months here in Buenos Aires I have the feeling it’s only going backwards; I’m not learning anything new and I feel the city is changing me in a negative way. I am afraid that I start becoming one of those persons I personally hate… It is becoming hard to see the positive side of things, and lately I’ve been focussing on the drawbacks instead of the good stuff. But then I came across this picture. And its message is true. It doesn’t make sense only focussing on the bad things in life. The better solution is just to focus on what makes you feel better. When something bad happens, you basically have three options…. You can either let it define you, let it destroy you or you can let it strengthen you. I think I am opting for the last choice. Every day may not be good… but there is something good in every day.

OMG, it's 2010! Yeah, time really flies, had a hectic but unforgettable 2009, so let's make 2010 even better! The year couldn't have started better. NYE in Amsterdam, spending precious moments with my new boyfriend and even found myself a new job. Bring it on 2010!

Now on to TS2 stuff... I kinda sorta promised a Christmas gift but in the end never posted it. Oops... *hides behind desk* BUT: I did make some recolors to match the chairs of the SS gift I made, even tested them ingame and all. Just have to stop being lazy find some time to package them and make the pretty preview pictures. Also will be sharing the SS gifts for all to enjoy. And possibly Maxine with included hair recolor too. ^^

Finally send my SS gifts today... I wanted to wait till Christmas eve, but I was being impatient. I hope she'll like it. *bites nails* And ZOMG, super exited!! Just received my SS gift, plaid and neon, I feel spoiled... Went ingame for the first time in weeks (well I did that yesterday too to take some preview shots, but that's not the same), and actually made a new sim too to play dress up with hahaha. Her name is Maxine, a tough cookie, maybe a bit crazy but very loyal to her friends and family. And I absolutely, completely adore her. <3

So yeah, it's been a busy few weeks, and I'm still not slowing down hehe. I've been practically outside the house for 90% of the time, haven't even touched TS2 so I really should finish my SS like ASAP. But yeah, especially this week I have other stuff on my mind, it's been a week of saying goodbye to my international friends, as most will be spending Christmas with their family at home. (I can't blame them.) But the thing is that I HATE saying goodbye to people, even if it's only for a few weeks, so I ended up staying up (read: going out) waaaay too late for the whole week. Also, tonight another "final party" so I won't be seeing my bed any time soon. Or TS2 for that matter. xD

Other random note: it's finally snowing here in Amsterdam! Yay! It's such a beautiful scenery outside... We were so excited that on Wednesday we went all outside at 3AM to play in the snow as little kids. Snowball fight!! xD But yeah, it's not like it's snowing in Holland every day, so you really have to enjoy it when it does.

BUT: Christmas vacation has started, so I know I'll find time soon. Well, I kinda have to to finish my gifts. It's almost Christmas already. xD

Just came back from Antwerp... Whole day of sightseeing and shopping, woot! And it was not raining, I think it's a new record. xD Anyway, currently deleting all the extra dark wood textures of the Zecutime chair, and then I had the idea to put the wood texture in a separate file. Now I know it IS possible. Still a SimPE noob in that way... xD So if everything is working ok, they should be up in no-time. If TS2 is working with me so I can take some preview pics. And photobucket of course. Have to go now, SimPE is waiting. ;)
